Very happy with the product and the pricing. Shipping is where it all went wrong. I called Canada Breakers before ordering because I couldn't understand the shipping choices. Some of the coices I had to pay for, but the shipping time was actually longer than the free shipping. Other choices were less than a dollar between them, but has different names like standard vs express. The lady I spoke with didn't know so she sent a message to the warehouse and indicated they would get back to me in short order. I said to her I needed the breakers asap so would pay for shipping, just need to know which shipping method to choose. Five hours passed and I heard nothing so I just ordered the breakers, $1700+ and chose Purolator Express. Web site indicated less than 48 hours and I would have the breakers. Two days passed, I was tracking the order and could see they were stuck in a warehouse in Peterborough. Twice the messaged me and said the package was failed to be picked up. Called Purolator, talked with agent Chris, very helpful, four days after ordering I had my breakers. I feel for what I paid for shipping it was a waste of money. Canada Breakers needs to step up their customer service and have better explanation of shipping choices on their website.

So first off, the ordering and purchasing experience was fast, seamless and ultimately perfect and my order was shipped the following morning after being place at 11:00PM.

So why my low rating?

Everything that followed.

Firstly, I made an error and had purchased the wrong product. Unlike every other e-commerce site I know of, there is NO WAY TO CANCEL YOUR ORDER ONLINE. I sent an E-Mail at midnight (the same night I ordered) requesting a cancellation but I was too late as all orders are shipped out in the morning and e-mails are only read in the afternoon. Having no way to cancel an order online is a major design and usability flaw.

So then, I had to wait for my order to arrive and then begin the process to return the order. THERE IS NO WAY TO REQUEST A RETURN ONLINE.

It took 3 E-Mails and 2 phone calls to get basic information like the shipping address for Canada Breakers Returns Centre.

RETURN SHIPPING IS NOT FREE.

And I am still waiting on a refund.

I really liked the purchase experience but the lack of the ability to cancel an order online and the arduous and over complicated return process makes me feel like Canada Breakers just doesn't want to allow cancelling or returning an order.

I'm not sure I'll ever use them again.

I am amending it thanks to Canada Breakers hearing my complaint and addressing it.

Canada Breakers has since refunded my order and reimbursed me for my return shipping expenses. This resolution process was vastly faster and smoother than the order cancellation and return shipping processes.

However, I do stand by my opinion that there should be a capability to cancel your order online and there should a capability to request a return online. These are basic features that every online store I know of has and a company as large as Canada Breakers should not be an exception.

I am very grateful for my refund being fast-tracked and that my return shipping costs were covered but again, this could have all been avoided with a simple "Cancel" button.

Hadn't noticed extra item in my cart at time of check out. After a quick email 30 mins after purchase I received email stating items removed from order.(response to resolution time was less than an hour) Order was shipped less that 24 hours after purchase and delivered with 72 hours of purchase. Order came complete. As of writing this i have not tested the products yet but came in original packaging and documents. Would reccommend!
